O home office e nos novos hábitos
Com a pandemia no novo coronavírus, muitos de nós fomos obrigados a aderir ao home office e estamos cada vez mais contando com aplicativos de videoconferência. Mas, inevitavelmente, com nossa casa e nosso trabalho se fundindo em um, essa mistura entre o lado profissional e o pessoal, acaba gerando algumas situações embaraçosas, principalmente na hora de participar das reuniões.
Hábitos inusitados
Não é a toa que, a todo momento, surge alguma notícia na internet, que virou até meme, de pessoas que participaram de reuniões em alguns lugares inusitados, como dentro do banheiro (por um leve descuido), dentro de armários (para fugir dos filhos) e até dirigindo, simplesmente por achar que vai otimizar os afazeres do dia a dia. Sem contar os que sequer se preocupam com a vestimenta e aparecem sem camisa, com roupas íntimas ou de roupão de banho.
Outra situação embaraçosa são aqueles que não conseguem evitar que as crianças ou animais de estimação participem da reunião: ou por acharem a situação fofa e pensar que todo mundo compreenderá a situação, ou porque não têm como escapar mesmo. São casos e casos, mas que podem atrapalhar o desempenho da reunião, bem como prolongá-la e até irritar os demais participantes.
Problemas técnicos
O culpado número um de uma dolorosa videoconferência é a qualidade da chamada em si. Se não conseguimos ouvir o nosso colega de trabalho, com certeza ele não terá muita serventia. Então, fica a dica, antes de começar a reunião, o mínimo que podemos fazer é um teste para garantir que a chamada tenha bom som e boa imagem, com o mínimo de problemas tecnológicos. Algumas questões importantes:
Em reuniões de grupo, mudo por padrão
Isso pode parecer óbvio, mas muita gente se esquece de silenciar o microfone antes de se juntar a uma chamada com várias pessoas.
Isso pode levar a interferências, como cães latindo, crianças gritando, o barulho da obra do vizinho ao lado. Ligue o microfone apenas quando for sua vez de falar. Ah, e outra coisa importante: espere o coleguinha terminar de falar para expor sua opinião, senão vira uma confusão e ninguém entende nada.
Estabeleça limites
Nossa família é mais importante do que qualquer outra coisa, mas isso não significa que os colegas queiram ver nosso parceiro de roupão, o gato sentado no teclado ou as crianças brincando.
Por isso é importante fazer uma chamada de vídeo em um lugar onde você possa impor limites, se possível. O limite físico mais simples é uma sala com uma porta, que pode ser fechada quando você está em uma chamada de vídeo.
Educação em primeiro lugar
Se você tem algo melhor para fazer do que estar em uma chamada de vídeo, é mais educado se desculpar do que permanecer na chamada e, obviamente, parar de prestar a atenção.
Se você se afastar e abrir um aplicativo diferente, como whatsapp, instagram ou até mesmo o facebook, esteja ciente de que as pessoas podem perceber.
